CALL FOR ART - ATTENTION ARTISTS 18 AND OLDER IN THE TRENTON/MERCER COUNTY AREA:
FlyKickz has officially started a CALL FOR ART! Artists in the Trenton/Mercer County area are encouraged to submit their art for an opportunity to be featured in this community collaborative pop-up exhibition. There will be no submissions fees and artists will keep 100% of their sales; no commission will be taken. A beautiful space and opportunity to connect, engage and build with the community.

Last year, FlyKickz successfully raised over $6,000 to curate the 2023 Youth Sneaker Customizing Workshop Experience and this year we’re giving back to the community again!
FlyKickz recently became the recipient of a 2nd I AM Trenton grant. This grant will be used to create an amazing, community collaborative art show known as “FlyKickz presents The Art Collective”. The Art Collective is about uniting a diverse group of artists within the community to collaborate together, creating a space where they can express their individual style and talents. Our goal for this project is to inspire creativity and exemplify community & camaraderie. This show will include various style of art on canvas, live performances, raffles, giveaways, refreshments and more! The objective of The Art Collective is to highlight talent of all ages and skill levels within the Trenton/Mercer County community including students, residents, aspiring and professional artists. This exhibition will be free and open to the public, located at Mercer County Community College Trenton Hall, inside the James Kerney Campus Gallery.
In addition, FlyKickz is curating an interactive art workshop (private event) for 30 youth that have been selected. The purpose of this workshop is to connect creatively, mentally and inspire artistic expression. This sneaker inspired art workshop will include art supplies, food, giveaways, raffles, DJ & more at no cost to the youth.
THE ART COLLECTIVE will beautifully showcase the talent within the community and provide an innovative creative outlet for the youth. The goal of this project is the create a memorable experience that connects art & community, accentuating the beauty of collaboration; representing a perfect fusion of creativity and community outreach.
